Fernando de Noronha se puede dividir claramente en dos zonas, la ubicada del lado de Brasil denominada “mar adentro” y la ubicada hacia el continente africano llamada “Mar afuera”.
En el “mar adentro” encontramos 10 playas y 3 bahías, una de ellas inaccesible, Bahía dos Golfinhos. Las otras dos bahías representan un atractivo espectacular:
La Bahía de Sancho es quizás la mejor playa en Fernando de Noronha, aquí se puede hacer una parada para nadar y no hay peligro acerca de dañar los arrecifes que son considerados parte de un parque marítimo protegido.
La Bahía de Porcos esta completamente formada por piedras, esta bahía tiene muchas piscinas naturales.
En el mar afuera hay 4 playas, dos áreas de contemplación, una ensenada y una agrupación de piscinas naturales que se forman en las rocas. La playa más destacada es La Playa de Leao. Esta playa es ideal para avistar tortugas.
La Bahía del sudeste es una bahía-playa única con aguas muy tranquilas. Próximo a las ruinas del Fuerte de Sao Joaquim.
Todas ellas comparten la claridad de sus aguas, y un ambiente ideal para disfrutar de la playa como nunca.

Fernando de Noronha can be clearly divided into two areas, located on the side of Brazil called “into the deep” and another one located to the African continent called “Offshore.”
In the “deep” are 10 beaches and 3 bays, one of them inaccessible, Bahia dis Golfinhos. The other two bays, represent a spectacular attractive.
Sancho’s Bay is perhaps the best beach in Fernando de Noronha, here you can make a stop for swimming and there’s no damage on reefs that are considered part of a protected marine park.
Porcos’ Bay is completely formed by rocks, the bay has many natural pools.
In the offshore are 4 beaches, two areas of contemplation, an inlet and a group of natural pools that form in rocks. The most prominent beach is Playa de Leao.This beach is ideal for spotting turtles.
The East Bay is a bay-beach unique but it calm water. Near the ruins of Fort Sao Joaquim.
They all share the clarity of its waters, and an ideal environment to enjoy the beach like never before.

Taganga is a traditional and quiet fishing village with fishermen spending their days wading in the water and boats come and go from Santa Marta, and at night is becoming a growing nightlife where you can dance the night away with a beautiful view of the ocean. The road to Taganga is by the beach where you can stop and buy fresh fruit juice everywhere and the town itself is full of open air restaurants. A short hike away you will find Playa Grande, an inviting beach with a wonderful coral reef.
